Design
The Cube from Vatter is the most modern deep bass absorber obtainable on the market at the moment. The patented concept of a distortable Helmholtz resonator was used by us for the first time in the "Tunebox" and is continued in the Cube. This is not only smaller and more compact but it also captivates by its noble design.
Handling
The Cube is very easily set up. By opening or closing the 6 Cube´s eyes on the front panel the absorber can be adjusted to the requirements by the customer within minutes. The advantage for the client is, that he disposes of an absorber, which can be adjusted to EACH room. The detailed need of absorbers and their setup can be evaluated by the measurement software Ramses.
Positioning
The ideal position of a Helmholtz resonator is the corner of the room, because at this spot the room resonances are particularly strong and most audible. As an alternative, if the corners are not available, the absorbers could also be positioned in the edges of the room, considering from which room dimension the natural modes are coming.
To get certainty if there is a roomacoustic or electroacoustic (loudspeaker) problem, the roomacoustic measurement tool Ramses from Vatter is optimum suitable. Working with Ramses the influence of the room can be evaluated objectively. Mostly it is very difficult to assign bass problems to their real perpetrator by other means.
