Category Discription Diffusers are constructed to disperse arriving sound waves. Diffusers have a rich and complex surface so that incoming sound waves are reflected in many different directions. This phenomena is called diffusion. Likewise to absorbers a small part of the sound energy is still absorbed but the greatest part of the incoming sound waves are scattered. The result is that standing waves and echoes are reduced but the total sound energy isn't reduced as much as if only absorber were used. By using diffusers in room acoustics treatment the speech inteligibility is improved and an overall ambient sound is still present. Manufacturers New Products For September - Diffusers |
